This morning she was so kind to start at 4th attempt when I promised Tender Loving Care at the Bloomington Yamaha dealer if she would get me there. She did. I did not turn her off, though, before getting to Bloomington (400 miles, 8.00 AM - 15.00 PM).

I tried a little the kick-start idea when the problem arrived. My handicap is multifold. First I lack the power to get her on the center stand by myself (I weigh in at 140 pounds at best); Chuck tried to teach me but found me beyond hope. Second, I don't think I have the power to kick-er down. Third I have never done it before.

My > 4000 miles trip came safely to an end today and I am sure I can have the starter issue fixed.

For the remainder: MS once more turned out to be a magnificent machine both on the outback highways, on the steep Smokey Mountain roads up Lookout Mountain and today nonstop in the Interstate fast lane.
